we have an enabling / supporting role.
we (with help from other services/organisations) will support communities to strengthen and develop their resilience, through the following key actions:
swift, effective support / assistance when problems occur (community resilience makes this more effective)
work with communities & partners to develop sustainable & appropriate solutions
strengthen community awareness, information, knowledge, skills, and resources - for emergency response and self-care, and preventing / reducing risk of ill-health.
