Are you the right person?

Values are not about what we do, but how we do it.  They are visible in everything that we do and are the foundations of how we operate on a day to day basis and they create and develop our culture.

Our values can be seen in how we deal with our patients, but importantly they are also visible in how we treat each other and how you can be expected to be treated as a member of staff.

Our values are to:

  • act with integrity, openness and honesty
  • put the patient at the heart of everything we do
  • encourage learning, creativity, innovation and new ways of working
  • treat each and everyone with respect and dignity
  • challenge abuse, discrimination or harassment

We are looking for people who respect and who can live these values. We are committed to supporting the principle of equal opportunities in employment and opposes all forms of unlawful or unfair discrimination on the grounds of race, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation, religious belief, trade union/professional organisation membership (or non membership), ex-offender status, health or physical characteristics.

Employees with a disability are welcomed for their abilities and the contribution they make to the Service. Our Equal Opportunities in Employment policy and Disability Equality Scheme (√√) support this commitment. The Service is committed to interviewing all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for a job vacancy and consider them on their abilities.
