
Special Operations Response Team Ambulance Paramedics are trained to use the full range of paramedic skills but are also licensed to administer specific drugs. They deliver these life saving skills in challenging and hazardous environments whilst wearing specialist equipment. They are responsible for triage, treatment and care of patients within the inner cordon of an incident. In addition to this they are specialists in incident management including major incident response and casualty decontamination.
A full training package is provided on appointment to the role.
Roles are generally on a Band 5 which from April 2011 is £18,402 - £21,798
