Annual review

The Cabinet Secretary with members of staff from the Ambulance Service and Semi Chem

The performance of the Scottish Ambulance Service is assessed by the Government Health Department through the Annual Review process.  The review includes a meeting in public, where key areas of performance are discussed. The 2011 review was chaired by the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Cities Strategy, Nicola Sturgeon. The 2011 review was held at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy on 10 October.

In advance of the Annual Review, the Scottish Ambulance Service prepared a self assessment report of performance.  This report was used to guide discussion at the Annual Review meeting.
